Ready to Go (archived) Programs
The following conditions apply to all Ready to Go (archived) programs offered by Age Concern Pty Ltd.
Making a booking with Age Concern Pty Ltd implies full acceptance of these conditions.
- Receipt and payment of a completed order will be regarded as a confirmed booking.
- Participants must complete individual sessions within two weeks of receiving their login details. For the Post Graduate Dementia program, participants must complete the course within 8 weeks from the last session.
- Changes and cancellations to your order must be in writing.
- No change or cancellation is permitted if Age Concern has emailed your login details, irrespective of the date or time of your order.
- To the extent permitted by law, all other claims, liability or warranties are expressly excluded.
- As an individual registered participant in our Ready to Go Programs you are prohibited, in any way from:
(a) allowing others to listen to all or any part of the session;
(b) downloading, recording, or copying, all or any part of the session;
(c) copying, altering, modifying, merging or adapting the whole or any part of the provided materials - Where changes are permitted –
(a) one (1) change to the title of a program is permitted without additional fees, if the programs are of equal cost;
(b) one (1) change to the title of a program is permitted without additional fees (save for the difference in the program fee), if the new program is of greater value;
(c) one (1) change to the title of a program of lesser value will incur a 10% fee on the original order, to cover administrative & bank charges.
In-Service Programs
The following conditions apply to all in-service programs offered by Age Concern Pty Ltd.
Making a booking with Age Concern Pty Ltd implies full acceptance of these conditions.
- All program cancellations and changes to your booking will be subject to an administrative fee.
- In certain circumstances the contractor may change the date of the program by up to four (4) full weeks of the original commencement date. The contractor will incur an administration fee equal to 10% of the full program fee and will also be responsible for any travel and or accommodation change costs, and or additional such costs. Dates changes will depend on the availability of Age Concern Pty Ltd facilitators.
- Cancellation of a program outside of five (5) full weeks of the program commencement date, irrespective of the date of booking, will attract an administrative fee of 20% of the program fee.
- Cancellation of a program within five (5) full weeks of the program commencement date, irrespective of the date of booking, will attract a fee equal to the full cost of the program, plus any travel and or accommodation costs already incurred by Age Concern Pty Ltd in relation to the program.
- All applications for a date change or cancellation of a program must be in writing and received at Age Concern Pty Ltd Head Office between 0900 – 1200 hours Monday to Friday AEST/AEDT. Email receipts after 1200 hours will be regarded as being received the next business day and date.
Virtual Classroom (live) Programs
The following conditions apply to all Virtual Classroom (live) Programs offered by Age Concern Pty Ltd.
Making a booking with Age Concern Pty Ltd implies full acceptance of these conditions.
- Receipt and payment of a completed order will be regarded as a confirmed booking.
- A login to Moodle, where the handouts of programs and other resources are stored, will be regarded as commencement of the program.
- Changes and cancellations to your order must be in writing.
- A full refund less 10% will be given for written cancellations received fourteen (14) days before the commencement date. No refund will otherwise be made in the event of cancellations or failure to access the program within the advertised time period.
- Age Concern Pty Ltd may cancel or postpone the program at any time or for any reason at their discretion. In such an event, the maximum liability of Age Concern Pty Ltd to all applicants will be limited to a full refund of the registration fee paid by the applicant. No other claims will be recognised.
- To the extent permitted by law, all other claims, liability or warranties are expressly excluded.
- As an individual registered participant in our Virtual Classroom (live) Programs, you are prohibited, in any way from:
(a) allowing others to listen to all or any part of the session;
(b) downloading, recording, or copying, all or any part of the session;
(c) copying, altering, modifying, merging or adapting the whole or any part of the provided materials - To participate successfully in one of our live programs, it is important that you are equipped with a suitable headset (dual earphone and microphone). Sets can be purchased at many common electronic retailers or via our online shop when purchasing any program.
Subscriptions
The following conditions apply to Subscriptions (and all Subscription programs) offered by Age Concern Pty Ltd.
Making a booking with Age Concern Pty Ltd implies full acceptance of these conditions.
- Receipt and payment of a completed order will be regarded as a confirmed booking.
- Participants of the ‘ANNUAL’ and “ANNUAL – Paid Monthly” subscription programs have full access to the complete library of subscription programs and have no restriction on the number of programs they access each month, however can only access one program at a time.
- Participants of the ‘CASUAL” subscription program have full access to the complete library of subscription programs, however can access just two programs per month, and one program at a time.
- Changes and cancellations to your order must be in writing, or via email to info@ageconcern.com.au. If your email fails to be acknowledged within two(2) business days, you must call our office and seek confirmation.
- No change or cancellation is permitted if Age Concern has emailed your login details, irrespective of the date or time of your order, within the period of the Subscription.
- As an ‘ANNUAL’ subscriber, you are committing to a full annual payment (as listed on the website), regardless of the number of programs you participate in. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the period unless you specifically request this not occur.
- As an ‘ ANNUAL – Paid Monthly’ subscriber, you are committing to twelve (12) monthly payments (as listed on the website), regardless of the number of programs you participate in. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the period unless you specifically request this not occur.
- As a ‘CASUAL’ subscriber, you are committing to a monthly payment (as listed on the website), regardless of the number of programs you participate in. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the period unless you specifically request this not occur.
- To the extent permitted by law, all other claims, liability or warranties are expressly excluded.
- As an individual registered participant in our Subscription Programs you are prohibited, in any way from:
(a) allowing others to listen to all or any part of the session;
(b) downloading, recording, or copying, all or any part of the session;
(c) copying, altering, modifying, merging or adapting the whole or any part of the provided materials - Where changes are permitted –
(a) one (1) change to the title of a program is permitted without additional fees, if the programs are of equal cost;
(b) one (1) change to the title of a program is permitted without additional fees (save for the difference in the program fee), if the new program is of greater value;
(c) one (1) change to the title of a program of lesser value will incur a 10% fee on the original order, to cover administrative & bank charges. - Age Concern Pty Ltd reserves the right to vary the programs from time-to-time without notice.
