Age Concern Pty Ltd provides continuing professional development (CPD) training, seminars, courses, and consultancy services for aged care professionals. Programs are delivered in person, online via Zoom/Teams, or as pre-recorded courses. From time to time, digital resources and downloadable materials may also be offered through the website.
Payments may be made by PayPal, credit card, or invoice (by prior arrangement). All prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise specified.
All purchases and program bookings are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Specific programs or courses may carry their own additional terms and conditions (e.g., cancellation timelines, rescheduling arrangements, or facility responsibilities). These will be provided at the time of booking and form part of your agreement with Age Concern.
For example, certain programs such as the Delirium Program In-Person have detailed refund and cancellation terms, which take precedence over this general policy. Please ensure you review the relevant program policy before booking.
When you purchase a course, seminar, or program through our website, a customer account may be created for you. Account details (including login credentials) are personal to you or your organisation and must not be shared, transferred, or used by any third party.
You agree to use our courses, webinars, and resources for your own professional development or for the staff of the organisation that has purchased access. Recording, copying, distributing, or sharing our training content (including videos, slides, handouts, or webinar links) without written permission from Age Concern Pty Ltd is strictly prohibited.
All training materials, course content, handouts, videos, and other resources provided by Age Concern are the intellectual property of Age Concern Pty Ltd. Purchase of a course or program grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for personal or organisational training purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, public display, or commercial use of our content without prior written consent is not permitted.
Our training and consultancy services are provided for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and compliance with current aged care standards, ultimate responsibility for meeting regulatory obligations remains with the purchasing organisation or individual.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Age Concern Pty Ltd disclaims all liability for any loss, injury, or damages arising from the use or misuse of our training programs, resources, or consultancy services.
We collect personal information such as names, email addresses, and billing details when you make a purchase through our website. Payments are processed securely via WooCommerce and PayPal.
A separate Privacy Policy will be made available on our website outlining how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in compliance with Australian Privacy Law.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
