Session 4 – Chronic Wounds
At the completion of this session the nurse should be able to differentiate between venous and arterial leg ulcer and select appropriate products; use evidence based assessment practices and introduce contemporary management strategies of pressure injuries.
NOTE:
Facilities (and groups of nurses working from the same facility) receive a discount of 25% on registrations of 5 or more, 40% discount on registrations of 15 or more, 50% discount on 15 or more and 60% on 20 or more!
Content includes:
- leg ulcers- differentiate venous from arterial, management of each;
- unusual leg ulcers and
- pressure injuries, revised terminology; assessment and management.
