Although many residents may have a depressive illness, admission is not the major cause of depression in residential care. Do you know the reason?

Overall Objective:

At the completion of the session the nurses should be able to to discuss the diagnostic criteria for depression; discuss the correct use of screening tools, assessment methods and assessment data to identify
clients with possible depression symptoms; discuss treatment options.
